3 things I wish I knew before I started my weight loss journey (tips that actually work)

 This is basically a summary of the top 3 things I recommend to lose weight. Today I wanted to share with you 3 things that I wish I knew before I started my weight loss journey - this would have saved me so much time (years of doing the wrong thing previously). Hope it's helpful! XO


 If I don't count calories, I could easily eat 3500 without even realizing it. Now I try to stick around 1500.

 Tip 4: Actually start doing things instead of watching YouTube videos on weight loss journeys!
P.s. : To everyone telling me how wrong I am, I'm being sarcastic! I watch them all the time. My feed is full of them. I know how much they help! 🙈🙈

 255 unhealthy pounds.. I can't believe I've let myself get to this point. Now time to shed it off. I'm fairly young, so it ought to be slightly easier, but I still expect struggle, but I'm not comfortable or healthy enough to just leave it. It's time to lose this weight and I'm so fucking ready.

 The one thing I wish I knew before trying to lose weight: eat healthy. I was of the mindset that you can have a terrible diet and go to the gym...it’ll be fine🤦🏾‍♀️

 1. Calories matter, but you dont have to count it to the single digit
2. More protein in diet
3. Not just about exercise, but the right kind. (HIIT and Strength training worked for her)

 i gained 8 pounds during quarantine i feel disgusting i can’t live like this i stepped on the scale and started crying and straight away started working out
 The HIIT thing is soooo real. I dropped 20kg without even realizing. It just takes a lot of dedication and consistency

 I tried HIIT and strenghth training and was just getting bigger. Steady state cardio such as walking gives me the results I am looking for. Everyone is so different. :)

 Hey Liezl! I was wondering if you could do an “Eating healthy on a budget” type video or if you had tips for students who are trying to eat healthy/get in shape?
 It's useful to count calories for a few weeks, then you eventually learn to estimate your portions.
This is great especially for those who grew up in a household where obesity is normal, and what seemed a normal portion to you, it was probably 3x times your normal meal.

 I've never clicked so fast on a notification video let's do this everyone and enjoy the video send lots of love and support to liezl Jayne as her subscribers and fans and let's show her how much we love her videos and appreciate how much time and work she puts into these videos for us regardless of how crazy her schedule must be

 This! This so much! I wish someone told me these too when I started! I am 50 lbs down now with 70 more lbs to go. I would've loved to known these things ahead of time haha great video <3

 One thing I've learned is how encouraging it is to find people that are equally as motivated as you are, or more to workout with! I just recently started my journey and I'm super excited! Heehee! Great job!
 I just hit the 50lbs lost mark im just about halfway through my journey!! I started slow but added more and more heathy changes I use my fitness pal to keep track of my calories! :)
